01 - In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded sharp cheddar, and sour cream. Mix until smooth and creamy using a spatula or hand mixer.
02 - Add Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Stir until fully incorporated and no lumps remain.
03 - Taste the mixture and adjust seasoning if needed. Add more pepper or cayenne for additional heat.
04 - Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with chopped chives or green onions. Serve immediately with warm soft pretzels, or cover and refrigerate. Let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving if chilled.
