01 - Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper, allowing overhang on sides for easy removal.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, chopped nuts, dried fruit, and chocolate chips. Mix thoroughly.
03 - Heat peanut butter, honey, and butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir continuously until smooth and fully melted. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla extract and salt.
04 - Pour warm wet mixture over dry ingredients. Stir firmly until all dry components are evenly coated and mixture holds together when pressed.
05 - Transfer mixture to prepared pan. Press down firmly using a spatula or spoon back to create an even, compact layer.
06 - Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until bars are completely set and firm.
07 - Lift bars from pan using parchment overhang. Cut into 12 equal bars. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
